Shalok, Third Mehl:
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਲਾਰ ਰਾਗੁ ਜੋ ਕਰਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Guramukh Malaar Raag Jo Karehi Thin Man Than Seethal Hoe ||
Those Gurmukhs who sing in the Raga of Malaar – their minds and bodies become cool and calm.
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਏਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਏਕੋ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
Gur Sabadhee Eaek Pashhaaniaa Eaeko Sachaa Soe ||
Through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, they realize the One, the One True Lord.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਚਾ ਸਚੁ ਮਨਿ ਸਚੇ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥
Man Than Sachaa Sach Man Sachae Sachee Soe ||
Their minds and bodies are true; they obey the True Lord, and they are known as true.
